America doesn’t eat pork. Why?

Why do Americans not like to eat pork?

Although the United States is good at raising pigs, they do not like to eat pork. According to statistics, the United States consumes an average of 100 million pigs each year.

The reason why Americans do not like to eat pork is partly because their cooking methods do not bring out the delicious taste of pork. On the other hand, pork is an invasive species. There is no tradition of eating pork locally. Therefore, the domestic demand for pork is not high. Moreover, the domestic market in the United States is saturated and the demand for pork has not increased in the past 20 years.
